Once the black-lipsticked face of San Diego’s underground goth scene, Mormo Zine has come full circle—back to Branson, back to his roots, and ready to reinvent himself. The former Branson High student, who left in the '90s to chase chaos and creativity on the West Coast, is turning a new artistic page—this time in acrylic. Mormo’s next big step? A ticket to a local Paint Your Pet class in Branson, where he plans to create a deeply personal commissioned piece for the growing cult YouTube channel Bitesize Cobra Vids. But this isn’t just a hobbyist playing with paint—it’s a performance, a rebirth, and a reclaiming of his identity as a serious artist. “I feel confident I can create a masterpiece at this class,” Mormo says. “It’s a commission from Bitesize Cobra Vids and it’s very important to me. This is more than just art—it’s a statement.” The painting class, hosted by a local coffee shop invites locals of all skill levels to enjoy an evening of creativity, coffee, and connection. But for Mormo, the stakes are higher. Known online as both a provocateur and self-described “professional lolcow,” Mormo Zine has cultivated a bizarre yet loyal fanbase through years of unfiltered YouTube videos, zines, and unapologetic storytelling. His return to Branson marks a new phase—one that merges his chaotic online identity with a desire for personal growth and artistic legitimacy. “People know me for weird videos and offbeat humor,” Mormo says. “Now I want them to know me for my art. I want to show that someone like me—someone who’s lived on the edge—can still walk into a small-town art class and create something beautiful.” The event isn’t just a chance to watch an internet figure in action—it’s an invitation for the Branson community to engage with art, expression, and maybe even rethink what an artist looks like. Tickets are available now through the event page. Space is limited, and with Mormo’s followers watching closely, it may be the first class of its kind to attract a cult following.
