“Give it away, give it away, give it away now…”
The year was 1991. The band was the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. And with their first single “Give it Away Now” they were about to take the world by storm. However…
…that’s not what I want to talk to you about today.
I have a different kind of “Giveaway” in mind. I’m talking about Giveaway bullets. With these bullet points you're actually going to go against the “tease only” rule and give just a bit of real value.
You want to use these sparingly, and as a way to make people feel like you are actually giving them some real value in the copy and for that reason, they need to keep reading. You can sprinkle them in here and there like a fine seasoning.
Some examples of Giveaway Bullets:
* My favorite social media site for getting maximum engagement? Tumblr. Just make sure you stay focused on your target audience with content.
* Want to know 3 really great low hanging fruit traffic sources right now? I’ll tell you 3 VERY effective ones flying under the radar are Reddit, Rumble, and Medium! Do with that information what you will.
* Let me just tell you right here right now, free of charge that the absolute best thing you can do to increase sales is to work on a great offer.
You get the idea. They are Giveaway bullets. Great for spurring the reader along, but to be used sparingly. Like a little salt and pepper on your favorite meal at supper time.
That’s it for today. Give these Giveaway bullets a try. Sprinkle them in with your blind bullets and half-blind bullets, and see how much of a difference it makes when it comes to curiosity and captivation on your offers.
Tomorrow, I’ll be back with another lesson and remember, no matter what I teach you…
